For any other Star Wars nerds out there this looks really cool. Only 6 episodes but we will apparently get the full backstory on Count Dooku and Ahsoka Tano. Starts October 26th.
I'm trying to wrap up the Clone Wars animated series so this will dovetail nicely into that.

Watched episode 1 of this yesterday. Great animation, wasn't that impressed with the storytelling on this one. Each episode is roughly 17-20 minutes long and with there only being six it shouldn't take too long to plow through them. First one showed the birth of Ahsoka Tano who will become a larger presence in the live action series, she plays a pretty big role in other Star Wars stories but hasn't been in many movies. Introduced during Mandalorian series and will be getting her own soon. Anyway I wasn't that impressed with this particular story.

Also you said she hasn't been in many movies, but that's a typo right? She hasn't been in ANY movies.

You are right, no "movies" but in the live action Mandalorian and Boba Fett series. There are a couple more episodes with Ahsoka in them so hoping they are better, I just didn't care for a story about her mother and her as a toddler. I have heard there is an episode that shows how she escapes Order 66 so I'm sure that will be good.

Did you end up finishing up the Clone Wars series?

Watched episodes 2 and 3 during lunch which focus on Count Dooku. These were mildly entertaining and help the viewer understand a bit more of his backstory, and also why he decides to turn to the Darkside. So far I have been a little bit underwhelmed as I was hoping each episode would be at least 30 minutes. I hope this is something that they continue to add to but just leaves me wanting more.

Last three episodes were the best of the bunch. Overall I give it a solid “B” grade overall. Love the animated format to tell these short stories
