You'd be hard-pressed to beat Tom Hanks as Uncle Ned on Family Ties playing a hard-core alcoholic for laughs.

Most of Homicide: Life on the Street. But especially the one where Frank comes back to work after his stroke.

The fact the Mulder and Scully decide the family dynamic is OK and leave them alone fit in with the weirdness quite well.

Survivor All Stars when Richard Hatch got naked during a challenge and ended up rubbing his dick up against Sue Hawk while saying "you know you want some of this". The host Jeff Probst just told him to knock it off. A few days later Sue had a breakdown and quit the show.

Amazing how much the world was different 10-15 years ago.

Richard was the greatest Survivor of them all. Boston Rob a distant second.

SNL with Buck Henry babysitting Gilda Radner and Lorraine Newman, making them dress up in girl scout and ballerina costumes, jump on the bed, etc. I think the conceit was that everyone in the sketch was an actual adult.

Nothing but respect for the way Hatch played the game in Season 1, but I do take away some credit since it's easier to play a game when you are the only person who knows how to play. Granted, he gets mucho credit for being that only person who knew how to play, but I just can't call him "best ever" because of the circumstances of his win. Total lack of competition.

I do agree with you on Boston Rob. If he somehow does well this season despite having a massive target on him from day 1 it will cement his place as greatest ever, if it isn't already cemented. His resume includes 1 dominant coast to coast win, 1 runner up finish where he completely dominated and only lost because of most bitter jury of all time, but it really wasn't a true loss since he got engaged to the winner of that season minutes before she won the million. They now have 4 kids and are very happy.

His two other times playing..his first time he was green and did not make the jury. Second time he played a great old school game, but was done in by hidden immunity idols, a new twist for him. Next time out he learned from his mistakes and dominated start to finish.

Boston Rob is #1.

Hatch was quite the legendary character and he paved the way for many others, but he is not the greatest.

I do wish he was on this seasons cast of winners tho, that would be fun

agreed, but he was not asked to come back because of the unpunished sexual assault on Sue Hawk 15 years ago.

He was pretty terrible on All stars, but he also had the most massive target on his back in the history of the game. Everyone was scared of him back then. I bet he wouldn't have much of a target now, it wouldve been fun to see how he did with in that scenario.

Russell Hantz is my #1 of all time. The jury screwed him over because they where butthurt at Russell for making them look so stupid.

I've never seen Survivor. And aside from here, I 've never seen people I "know" talk/post about it either.
