Who? The Jews?

Anyone watch this last night? Ok, pace was slow, hopefully it picks up. WfR probably didn't like the scene were the Jews beat up the Nazis.

I read the book and thought it was mildly ennertaining but rather silly given the implausibility. Turns out I was the silly one.

There is some shitty acting and writing. We get it, the story is going to be about the rise of antisemitism under a Lindberg presidency. We don't need perpetual foreshadowing. Also, don't be trite. That stupid interlude about the wife being the only jewish girl in Elizabeth, NJ, really makes the character sound paranoid. Instead, why not show us how good life was before to highlight how bad it will become after.

Slow, slow, slow. Why tell the story in six episodes if it can be told in four. This has become a more apparent criticism of US shows, as we are able to see with Netflix how English series wrap up their shows in snappy fashion

Well, I've lasted through all five episodes so I will have to watch the ending. This entire story could have been told in a two hour special. Nothing really happens.
