presented as stylistically like La La Land but with guys having to be man whores to powerful women in order to make it in entertainment. Within one episode they pull a bait and switch and now it is about homosexuality not just in Hollywood but throughout LA and happily displays a mile of dick on screen. It's not horrible.

I just finished this and the best part is the acting. Lot of good portrayals in this one. Story was ok and got interesting but the ending killed the series for me. It's like they stopped the story abruptly for some 'everyone wins' ending.

I was expecting something more in line to true history but the story takes a turn where it uses today's social norms for the 1940s. You can say it is sort of like the ending of Ingourious Basterds where we hoped that's how real life would have turned out.
