So looks like w/ my phone I have a free year of apple tv. I just activated it and downloaded the app.

I see they have some shows to watch just like Netflix.

But other than this, what else does this service offer?

I see they have showtime/starz and other links but when I click them, it tells me to buy these services. Is that right or are these included w/ the apple tv?

Any recommendations from all of you here?

We have an apple tv device. In regard to TV viewing, is nothing more than a platform on which to load apps for subscription services. there are apps for Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu and all of that, but you need to subscribe to and pay for those services. It just like an apple phone, load an app, subscribe to the service. They do have some original programming on Apple+, but that is additional cost. I like the Apple platform more than I like our Firestick as far as navigating goes, but, at least in the way we use it, it doesn't really add anything to our viewing experience or options.
