Had occasion to watch Willy Wonka recently and determined Grandpa Joe is arguably the biggest piece of shit I’ve seen. Lets his daughter toil in a menial job while pretending to be an invalid. First chance he sees to advance, he pops out of bed. He uses that chance to almost fuck over his grandson and consume what seems like booze.

The last two seasons of Michael Scott on The Office. I was glad to see him leave the show. Everyone blames Holly but all she did was point out how bad his character had gotten since she was basically doing a female Michael Scott impression.

I hated Mother Jefferson. She was always so mean to Wheezie and George never defended his wife. I was way too young to understand the humor of MIL comedy. Maybe I would appreciate her more today

While we are exploring the era, I hated Alice. The show was great. All the other characters were fun Mel, Flo, Dingy, Mel's mom. Alice was a wet blanket. Then she would pull that shit a couple of times per season where she would shoehorn her singing into an episode. Linda Lavin obviously thought she could make a singing career from the show but she was cocktail lounge level talent.

But I recently gave Billions a shot and made it one season. Paul Giamatti’s character is god awful. By episode 4 I wanted to jab a knife in my eyes at all the eating scenes he has...delivering your lines while chomping on food for 3 minutes is not character develop. Jesus.

That show was shit from jump. Talk about trying to appeal to the lowest common denominator

Hazardous Youth once played a show with a band called Vic Tayback and the Violent Payback. Neither Vic nor Linda Lavin was in the band.

Whoa, bro! The worst eating on Billions was the terrible preparation that the "chef" used to make ortolan for Axe and Wags. I recently added ortolan to the menu at Guy Fieri's Chophouse in Atlantic City where we do things a little differently. First, every order comes with a half dozen ortolan. Those birds are tiny! Second, we stuff the birds with jalapeños and cream cheese before soaking them in Hunt & Ryde Old Vine Zinfandel. Finally, instead of making you put a napkin over your head we provide custom hoods complete with a logo of my face. Now that's a trip to Flavortown, baby!

And I get that. Being in the industry—not at that level—I did enjoy some of it. But it just became too much. The rapid fire, every line of dialogue has to be witty thing, just really became annoying.

You sat your kids down and told them 208 stories, mostly about trying to get with someone who wasn't their mother, so you could convince them to let you go after that person after she died. By the way, that person is also the ex-wife of your best friend. Also, your kids literally refer to her as Aunt Robin throughout your stories. I hope your well paying job can pay for the psychological counseling that your kids will need once they reach the age of knowing just how much of a dirtbag you are.

This is very true.
5 seasons is where shows max out. Very few exceptions to this. Shameless got pretty tired by season 6. I think my wife finished season 9....it's beyond horrible at this point.
