The only Sandler movie I’ve see all the way thru is uncut gems. Which was pretty good but not great.

I’ve always enjoyed his interviews on Dan Patrick though.

I stand corrected. I have seen HG all the way thru. The others you cited I’ve seen the majority of but not straight thru.

Never felt compelled to really do so.

He seems like a genuine dude though.

You didn’t miss much. I started it. Got about halfway thru and came back to it a few days later.

No need for a movie like that to be 135 minutes. Generally speaking, anything over 100 minutes is overkill for most movies. Unless it’s The Godfather or some historically based period piece/epic.

Sandler had a good run. First couple of movies were funny.

But he's in his 50s now. So that dopey/child like character that he always plays doesn't work at this point. And his audience, when he started, were teens - 30s.

Most young people now don't care about him anymore. They might have seen his old movies. But don't give a shit to see his new ones.

That being said, he's probably made 500 million in his career. Still got paid for the countless bad movies after the 90s. So good for him. He won.
