This movie made me want to soak my clothes and comforter in kerosene and take up smoking in bed.

The idea is that single people are rounded up, because reasons of some kind, and put in a luxurious hotel where they get 45 days to find a mate. Im confused as to why being a couple is so important to this stupid story. At first I thought it was because of procreation, but they offer homosexual accommodations as well. Anyway of you don’t find a mate, you get turned into an animal of your choosing via some undisclosed manner. Colin Ferrell wants to be turned into a lobster.

I suppose it was part of the idea but everyone in this movie speaks in a low monotone with positively zero emotion. It was like watching a play at the Prozac Theater.

It ends as insanely as it begins and meanders.

I think I'd rather stick a butcher knife into my carotid instead of seeing this again. The sweet draining sensation as like slowly oozes out of my body would be less harmful than the intellectual drain this movie causes after even the first couple minutes.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this at all costs because I can't live with you shooting yourself in the face because I didn't warn you in time.

I rented this movie from Redbox a long time ago. It was horrible. I checked out 30 minutes into it. Not sure what the critics found so great about it.

I caught a couple of minutes of it last weekend. It sounded horrible but thought it might have some wanking possibilities.
