If you liked the first one, you may be a bit disappointed with this but it was still a solid effort from one of the budding horror film directors of this generation. I love Eli Roth's style. There seemed to be something missing from this one that made the first film so great. I think it was just a little too predictable, since you know what's coming now. But there was a nice additive of American men bidding on these women to torture and kill--and of course they're these white collar guys stuck in a meaningless life or family situation. I think Roth could have gotten more satirical mileage out of that and didn't seem to take advantage of it.

Some HOT women in it, but unfortunately, no naked Bijou Phillips. Gee I just sounded like Mr. Skin there. Ew.

Anyway, for those who were not a fan of "Hostel" I wouldn't tell you to go see this one because it's more of the same. For fans of the first film, you should probably enjoy this one...probably not as much as the first. But I liked it.
