One of those indie strange movies starring Elijah Wood (with a hitler-style hairdo). Made in 2019, by a New Zealand director, Ant Timpson. All these NZ directors have bizarre ways of telling stories and this is no exception. But the less said about the plot of this one, the better. It's intriguing enough to get you to the surprises.

A guy gets a letter from his long-estranged father to come visit him at his remote mansion, with no explanation or anything except a map that lays out how to find his house.

I have to admit, for someone who has seen a lot of movies and can usually guess where the movie is going...this still had some surprises.

Has a lot of dark humor and tests the boundaries of good taste sometimes.
