This was recommended to me to watch because of an outside project I'm working on.

This documentary is nearly impossible to watch. It's about the systemic abuse and murder of an 8 year old boy in LA. I'm only 2 episodes in of 6 and I can barely look at the television screen. This child was brutalized for months until his body couldn't take any more.

Although the main focus so far is the mother of the child and her boyfriend, the other part of the story is about the way DCFC turned a blind eye to multiple reports and proof of abuse until the child was dead. This happened in 2013. Does the plot sound familiar? It happened right here again a couple years ago, nearly word for word in Crystal Lake.

It's amazing that this could happen in the first place but after the media attention it got how could it, almost the exact same thing, happen again?

I don't know if you can actually sit through this and watch it but perhaps I'd recommend it.

And remember to hug and love your kids and grandkids and nieces and nephews.

And if you ever suspect abuse anywhere you think you see it report it. Follow up.

Many that is true, but an incomplete statement.

There is no way I could watch that. But hopefully it effects meaningful improvements.
