Well this movie is bombing. Another shit show for the beleaguered Disney. Apparently it made only 42 mil opening weekend. Doesn't look better this weekend. Imdb has it rated at 1.8/10.

This movie has been getting hammered for close to 2 years. Disney finally had to take their medicine and roll this thing out eventually and just eat their losses. Disney needs to come up with some original ideas pretty soon instead of trashing their entire library with unwanted live-action remakes.

Plenty of movies just don't get released so they didn't really have to. They could have put it next to the Batgirl movie with Keaton's Batman that the studio just sat on.

They made the dwarves CGI as not to offend actual little people ( thereby depriving them of acting work in the process) and the lead actress basically shit all over the storyline of the actual movie in the name
of hurr durr GURL POWER !! ( the storyline that several generations love ) . It is basically the definition of go woke, go broke . Thirdly, why the fuck would you cast Gal Gadot as someone jealous over another woman’s obviously inferior looks . They even tried to fire Gina Carano again even though they haven’t rehired her.

Disney used to be a studio full of new ideas and unsurpassed quality. Now it is where successful franchises go to be “reimagined” and die painful deaths. Everything they touch turns to shit right now.

There is a lot that is off-putting. Gadot is a terrible actress. Zegler turns a lot of people off. The feminizing and communist tilt of the story sounds bad. I don't like these live action remakes - it takes something away.

Hook-nosed (((elite))) tries to destroy traditional feminine values but is defeated by a group of small business owners.
