I saw it was on tonight. I'm watching it too. Great movie. It's even better in Dan McNeil's basement with his surround sound.

It's overloved. It's a good but not great movie. I remember it came out during the same summer as In the Line of Fire, which had a more creative story and a great John Malkovich performance and was just a better thriller.

The famed train crash special effects didn't age particularly well.

Yall know what a great slow burn action movie is? Escape from Alcatraz. Fantastic.

Or, you know, Terminator 2. Aliens. Crimson Tide. The French Connection. Three Days of the Condor.

Are you suggesting those are better movies than The Fugitive? Are you saying that Arnold Schwarzenegger is a better actor than Tommy Lee Jones? How dare you!

Great movie but the 2 second sex scenes were unnecessary

The three flat in the beginning of US Marshals(think chicken suit) is a couple blocks from my home. I had to do some work there years ago when the building was vacant and in foreclosure. As I walked through the primary apartment visualizing movie scenes I realized that I was the only person who'd seen the movie. I felt so much like a goofy nerd.

it might very well be the most rewatchable movie ever made. There was a point in my life where if I was flipping the channels and stumbled upon The Fugitive the remote got put down right away.

I would definitely agree with this. I'm still at a point where if I see it on tv while flipping through the guide, I go straight to it.

Definitely has staying power. That probably has something to do with all of the Chicago scenes, but really all of the actors in this movie are quite good in their roles. Even the background characters seem to shine for the few seconds the are involved.

Even Otis Wilson got some screen time.
