This started last night. Put it on my DVR but didn't start digging into it. Looks like they ran the first 2 of what I believe is 8 episodes. Can watch on Hulu as well. Not really sure what to expect as I haven't read anything about it but have always enjoyed the Raylan Givens character.

Suffering from the same problem the shield did with mackey’s daughter. Olyphant’s daughter cant act for shit. Also the bad guy is terrible so far and the show is only as good as its bad guys.

Im gonna stick it out but the first two episodes were pretty rough. I dont expect it to get much better. Fun to see Raylan again tho

The point about the bad guy is dead on so far. The daughter isnt great, but the problem with the first 2 episodes is the bad guy. And coming from a series with the great Boyd Crowder they have to get better on the bad guy.

Watched the first episode this weekend and can't disagree with some of the complaints about the bad guy and the daughter is really annoying. She looks like she is 16 but acts like an 8 year old. I'll get through the second episode sometime early this week and then decide if it is worth sticking with.

that's probably what she's like in real life. it's weird how most actors aren't. they're casted for who they really are, which doesn't require them to actually act. you can't find shit about her online, any interviews or anything, and no sexy photos. normally a girl in her position at her age would have a huge insta following with a bunch of provocative pics, trying to be a grown ass independent woman. she probably is a sheltered goody goody. not that its a bad thing just weird for a hollywood family.

Just looked her up on IMDB and she’s 20 years old. Never would have guessed that.

Through the first two episodes and will give it one more episode. More annoyance from the daughter but the story keeps pushing along ok. The villain guy isn't the worst I have seen. I do see that the daughter is only around one more episode according to IMDB so she is either getting sent to her mother or gets killed somehow.

4th episode kinda lame. The bitch that got her teeth ripped out was awful actor. I'd be freaking out and she acted like it happens sometimes.

The actor who plays the villain is named Boyd in real life.

Shame he isnt near a real Boyd

I want to know if thats her real voice/personality or she's trying to act 15. There's no interviews of her online or anything. Which means she's probably not acting much. She's likely a virgin and the whole olyphant family is fucking weird. Tim is a great actor though.

Shane should have done it even at his age.

I've finally gotten to this show this weekend and here are my quick thoughts:
I don't think this was a 'justified' show to start. I think it was a bland serial cop drama but they decided to add Raylan to give it some credibility that's why it seems so out of place and none of the characters are at the level of the original and they haven't thrown anyone in from the original show. They could have had Rachel or Gunderson working in the detroit office and that would have helped. The one saving grace so far was in episode 1 when the daughter asked to go to Harlan...which would be great to do if they get a second season.

I have enjoyed the last couple episodes more than the early ones. Still not great, but slowly getting better.

I have two more to go and honestly was only half watching the last episode before that. I've been hesitant to put the time in to finish it and at this point am ok with just dropping it all together unless I hear that it is worth finishing.

Watched the last two episodes last night and am glad I checked them out. They were the best episodes of the series and finally tied everything all together.

Yes! I was right there with you. I had to force myself to watch the last couple, but sure glad I did.

Really curious where they go

Yeah I was sitting there and I had the choice of deleting the last two episodes or just getting through it. The second to last episode sucked me in and then I had to see it through. Definitely leaves it open for another season.

Thought that was one of Raylan's sweetest draws. Just needing/wanting the most basic of reasons to pull. It was palpable. That scene was filmed very well.

But after that... Apparently season 2 will start where the original series left off???
