completely unoriginal story of modest kid dreaming to be among the rich at any cost. It's like a frankenstein of the talented mr. ripley and gatsby.
Also, way to much wang, if that's possible. There is a disturbing trend both in tv and movies to show way more male nudity than there ever was of female nudity. There's more wang on screens than a chinese phone book. There are very few female actresses who were willing to bare it all and most of the time the southern parts were covered with a merkin. The last few years, dudes across the entertainment industry are happily helicoptering on screen. I get it that men of all shapes and sizes are generally more comfortable being naked in public. But I think there is more at play here. I suppose some think its empowering or some such bullshit.
You're right about the unoriginal nature of the story. However, the movie did do a good job of keeping you on edge for most of its running time. I would give it three stars out of four.
