Downey Jr excellent! Jude Law better. Holmes portrayed in a different light. Must see :D

As a kid I was a huge fan of Sherlock Holmes' books and was worried that the movie is going to suck. I enjoyed it tremendously.

Just saw a scene on tv,(Downey was on Letterman) with the bare knuckle boxing. Very impressive how that was filmed! No quick editing where you can't make out what the hell is going on,I like that! Seeing it today.

This movie was more than what I expected and actually delivered. I had to suffer through one of the dumbest audiences of all time--but it was almost like the movie *knew* that. It was pretty predictable but nonetheless a fun ride, even though you knew how it would unfold.

Ritchie's still got it. Downey Jr. just continues to dominate the screen when he's on. The chemistry between he and Law was good, and the movie was a solid way to spend a few hours away from the family chaos on Christmas.

:D :D :D out of :D :D :D :D

I won a free screening a couple of weeks ago including free food. I had to go to a grade school Christmas pagent instead.

Saw the movie last night and loved it. The sequal is obviously set up with Moriarty.

Downey is assured of being in at least 4 of the biggest blockbuster movies of the next couple of years with Iron Man 1 and 2 and Sherlock Holmes 1 and 2. Both will probably be more than 2 movies.

Saw it today. Enjoyed it.

I dig Rachel McAdams, but she's a bit too 'moley' for my taste. Some of her moles appear to be bigger than her tits. ....not a good thing.

I saw this a couple of months ago. I hadn't really planned on seeing the movie, as I thought it looked bad, but I have Netflix, so I figured what the fuck. I actually like it quite a bit. It was entertaining.

I bring this up now because when I was at the theater on Sunday, one of the trailers was for the sequel. As GD predicted, the it will deal with Moriarty. Looks to be very much a high-action movie, and possibly pretty good, from what you can tell from a trailer.

Was also pleasantly surprised by the movie. I really enjoyed the latest BBC series with Sherlock as a modern Asperger's sleuth and Watson as a war on terror veteran with PTSD.
