He talked to his ex wife on the phone and I guess was reminded of his daughter who died so that was I guess the last straw of motivation he needed to make a run for it. A bit flimsy.

all the reviews said it was meh and an insult to the source material. Reviews also said that because it's on network, it pussies out of showing the kinds of things that are commonplace on high level cable shows these days. Basically said it was very bland show and not worth putting in the time with so many better options out there. Hard pass.

That was weird watching a network TV show. The CSI/NCIS-like conventions we're all over it.

Agreed. I can’t even remember the last network show I tried to watch before this. It’ll clearly never be great but the pilot went by quickly and was compelling enough where I’ll give next week a shot too.

Zack Morris was pretty good.

This is a pretty decent show so far through two episodes. Would obviously be better on cable or HBO but still plenty watchable imo.

I didn't watch the 2nd episode. Just too many shows I've yet to see. Finishing up season 2 of Chappelle and then Justified is next.
