Anyone catch this fine new series on mtv? All I can say is wow. Its like watching growing up gotti only they are older and aren't rich.

A few years ago,MTV had a Jersey Shore 1 shot with some nasty head shaven goofy guy who had trouble with the ladies. That was funny,BUT THIS! These little Luigis,wanna-be tough guys are coming out in droves! They all have these common denominators: fake tans,greasy spiked hair,bad tattoos,steroid induced bodies and oh yeah,mentally insufficient to say the least. I'm full blooded Italian. I know a lot of Italians. None of them come across as dumb as east coast Italians do on these shows. I wonder what goes on in Jersey that they all act like this?? (at least that is how my people are portrayed) I think the national Italian Defamation Council should sue MTV for this!

I haven't watched MTV in quite sometime, but there has been controversy with how the residents are being stereotyped on "Jersey Shore"...

I caught some of these on tv over the holidays. It is much like driving by a
horrible accident. You feel sorry for those involved in what is going on, but
you can't help yourself by doing whatever you can to see the horror.
Mindless tv, hopeless characters, no plot, but plenty of drama and I finally
pulled myself away after a few episodes. Fun-Bad

All those guys are closet homosexuals, not that there's anything wrong with that. But, when you spend 3 hours doing your hair, two hours tanning and you release frustration by "dancing it out with a bunch of guys" you just might be gay.


And the situation has completely ruined that word for me...now everytime I hear the word situation I think of that douchebag.
