Somewhat related, have you seen the Cisco ads with Ellen Page? :x
The voiceover at the end is the worst.

Surprised MITC hasn't weighed in on these yet, unless I missed it in the Commercial section.

I kinda like Michael Cera but I don't see him being the breakout star the studios so desperately want him to be.

I don't hate Cera, his movies are good - but he doesn't strike me as much of an "actor". He's exactly the same character in every movie - he has to be like that in real life.

The dork teen-dad in Juno, Nick & Nora's infinite playlist, a couple other newer one's.

You've not rented one of these?:

Superbad
Juno
Nick & Nora's Infinite Playlist

I'd rec Juno for an overall quality movie. Superbad is funny, but it's silly teen gag funny. Nick & Nora is a teen romance girly-movie w/ music.

See Arrested Development instead, its much better than all that crap listed above.

He really is getting bad script advice.

He needs to do something TOTALLY out of his realm.

I'm thinking a serial killer, date rapist or transgendered heroin addict / terrorist that moonlights as a drunken Cubs fan.

I'm glad i'm not alone on this. Each character is exactly the same. They just have a different name and go to a different school

I agree with this. I was going to mention that his best work was in Arrested Development. (Shouldn't have been cancelled when it was. Just a great funny show.) Then I saw this:

He was also in some movie with jack black as a caveman or something of that sort. The preview looked awful so I never bothered to watch it.

Yeah, Year Zero I think. Never saw it, but it looked dumb.

Arrested Development, Juno and Superbad are all one needs of the Cera experience. It's been two years since Juno, the most recent of the three.

Been that way for a while. I'm comfortable with it. It makes me realize youth is truly wasted on the young.

An old broken down horse player told me that when I was 16. I tried to take his advice & not make that mistake.

...I still want a do-over
