Went to go see "The Help" with my wife tonight and was happy I did. It's a very good movie with a great cast of talented actors. Emma Stone was supposed to be the star of the movie and she does a good job in the film. But the woman that plays Abeline (a maid who is interviewed by Stone's character in the movie) steals the spotlight. it is her character that I will think of first, when this movie comes to mind. well worth the price of the tickets.

Not only did I see the movie, I am reading the book now too. As good as the movie is, the book has been even better so far. The characters of Skeeters boyfriend and Aibeleen's Daughter are much more developed and important in the book. Reminds me a bit of The Silence Of The Lambs, in that the movie was very good, but the book-having the luxury of developing so many characters better, is far superior. The book is a bit more controversial, I would say too. The subject of mixed race babies amongst the subject matters not involved in the movie. Still, the movie is a good one.
