This is a documentary about floor traders at the various chicago exchanges, their lives and the adaptations they have to make as the industry moves away from open outcry to on line trading. I heard an in depth discussion about it on NPR and it sounded incredibly interesting. I have not seen it and I don't know if it is even released yet.

I have always thought the stories from the BOT are some of the more interesting in the business world. Imagine an industry dominated by type A men with moderate education, little real regulation questionable moral compasses and the possibility to earn huge money. Then consider that most of the work starts after 8:30 and ends before noon. NBA players consider this the thug league.
