Saw it tonight. I'd grade it out to about a B. Beginning was very slow -- took ten minutes before it got going. Not that many memorable quotes, but the individual scenes were very funny. You have to be a Steve Carell fan or you will probably flat-out hate this movie. Carell's hobby is really interesting in the movie and they did a really good job on all of his handiwork. Surprising amount of sexual references for a PG-13 movie... I couldn't help but think of PG-13 movies in my 13 year old days, and they would not have come close to what this did. Some good supporting acting work in here too. Probably one I'd wait to see on TV (or torrent), but ok for matinee prices.

Not a bad movie, but far from great. A few scenes/characters could have been cut out. The problem I have with it is more the script than the performances. I know the characters are supposed to be idiots, but I think they tried too hard at times. I'd give it around a B- or C+. If you can't make it to the cheaper early show, just wait for it to come out on cable.

My sons informed me that we're going to see this tomorrow night after Bears Camp.

At least I got to see Rambo twice on SpikeTV with them tonight.

They will probably love it. It's a very over the top movie.

Carrell looks too much like Jerry Lewis's nutty professor to me...

I don't think my 11 year old has ever heard the word clitoris before, and some of the stuff was a bit too over the top (sexually) for him.

The movie was alright though....

Still a lame summer for movies. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is getting a good pre-release buzz, and The Other Guys seems funny from the previews.
