Loved the scenery. The story was nothing special, but great stunts and action for a TV show. The lead actor is no Jack Lord, but he was ok. The real star is Danno (Scott Caan) who plays a tough by-the-book cop who relocated from Jersey. Coolest part of the show was when the new McGarrett goes in his dad's garage and uncovers the classic huge Mercury that they used to drive on the original show. Also,Grace Park makes for some nice eye candy in her bikini. It's my new favorite show AGAIN!

I don't know how I am going to watch this show on Monday nights. Wish it was a
different night. Thanks for the brief review. I have never been able to stand Scott
Caan so I was most surprised to hear that you liked him in this.

He has a lot of attitude in Entourage. In this he is more likeable.

The show wasn't bad. It's mindless, entertaining fun. Plus, Grace Park doesn't hurt.

I'm a big fan of Grace Park so I'll keep watching.

I like Scott Caan also, ever since Boiler Room.

As I'm only 40, I don't remember the original series like jimmy so I'll take this show on its own merits. I thought it was alright, nothing special.

One thing that is special is that CBS HD looks about 100 times better then FOX HD.
NBC & ABC are a little better but CBS the picture quality is almost 3D like.

How many failed remakes has NBC done now?

Bionic Woman
Knight Rider
Hawaii 5-0

Am I missing any? You would think they would have learned by now.

Hawaii 5-0 is on CBS

Copying a failed concept is even worse.

For those that missed last night's premiere, "Hawaii Five-O" will be on again Saturday @ 7p on CBS2HD. As for the initial ratings, a bit of a disappointment...

Wrong Shark.

I stand corrected on the ratings, Jimmy...

You have to expect the first week's show to be good in the ratings, the 2nd week is big to see if people come back to watch and get new people.

I didn't see the espisode, so I had to google Grace Park. Not that impressed. Her square jaw, petite boe structure, and flat chest give her the appearance of an underdeveloped boy, so Good Dolphin probably wishes he could ogle her at a local high school basketball game.

A7X, the first episode of the new "Hawaii Five-O" airs again Saturday @ 7p, while the next episode airs where "CSI: Miami" used to be, Monday @ 9p on CBS2HD. Set the DVR...

Episode two was swell. The fight between the two girls was more realistic and better shot then most movies made today. I liked how McGarrett mocked anyone who wears a suit in "110 degree heat". An obvious jab at the old show. Good stuff. The "book 'em,Danno" also played as a running joke.

The first episode was lame, but I'll give the second one a spin on DVR. Lord knows I need something to entertain me during the 2 AM diaper changes and feedings for my little guy (that's my son, pervs).

I enjoyed the second episode as well, but I watched it after the Bears game was over, so that may have been due to :drunken: . That said, I will continue to watch until it inevitably gets cancelled.

He is a disgraced cop who was trained by McGarrett's dad. His cousin is the hot chick. He was added to the team because the governor gave McGarrett autonomous control. He seems to be the research/tech specialist.

I put the over / under on Grace Kim getting raped at 6 episodes.

Hoe the running theme is not for her to be in trouble every week.

This weeks episode featured an AWESOME chick fight. The best I've seen since Kill Bill.
