New show on VH1 about more New Jersey "types" planning for their weddings. One guy is unemployed engaged to a pregnant loud-mouthed bitch. (not being mean, watch the show) He is trying to start up some kind of Italian food busines & calls himself Johnny Meatball. What kind of A-Hole comes up with a name like that?

The fact that people actually watch Jersey Shore & Jerseylicious proves that there are plenty of dopes in this country. I tell my kids that for every minute they watch one of these programs they kill a few brain cells.
I seriously don't understand the desire to watch east coast stuck up drunk orange greaseball bitches & douchebags.

As an Italian-American,I find it interesting how "caveman" like my Italian bretheren seem to be on the east coast. Other Italians I have talked to say the same thing. The whole "wife-beater,greasy hair, cross wearing, crude language" thing is all east coast.

When did you become the authority on Italians? Did you get knighted by Mussolini or something?

Yeah, I think you shouldn't believe everything you see on TV. Reality shows tend to exaggerate JUST a bit.

People like to watch other people do stupid shit.

What do you think years of listening to Mike North does to your brain cells?

Let's be honest here. There is no difference between America's Funniest Home Videos and some of these reality shows. It's entertaining to watch people do dumb things. It's not like I take it seriously or anything. It's humorous. It's not like any television is really intellectually stimulating, especially sports that have no real intellectual value to them. There is some of that boring stuff on PBS and a lot of useless information on the History Channel but realistically you aren't helping your brain watching television and Scorehead's kids really shouldn't rely on any television to bring that kind of intellectual stimulation.

I have watched every episode of Jersey Shore and I think it's great. I know that they are intentionally over the top but it's still amusing to watch. I find it much more interesting than another horribly inaccurate CSI show or Hitler 24/7 on History Channel.

It's all garbage. TV surely is a reflection of society.

Was that a reflection of society? (WAR Gabe Kaplan-Joyner Kersee)

Battle of the Network Stars was at least good wholesome family entertainment, compared to reality TV crap like the Jersey greaseballs, & the trash talk shows. TV was better in the 70's.
