There used to be an old guy on PBS who used to paint outdoor scenes, like Bob Ross, but I remember him having a European accent of sorts. Does anyone remember who this is?

You are correct ... I can even kinda see the cat in my minds fading eye ... no, I have nothing helpful to add as far as who he was ... just chiming in to let you know I recall it as well ... maybe I'll research it later ... or some other time ... or never ... who the hell knows ...

Bob Ross lived in Muncie, IN and his show was taped there at Ball State. I met him a couple of times and he was exactly like he appeared on TV.
