I'm watching this poor bastard on Letterman right now. I want to thank you for the movies I've enjoyed, and your strength. Family Ties, Back to the Future, and countless movies in the 90's. He's been open for a long time, hoping he can help. Here's a beverage to MJF. Parkinson's needs a cure.

He was pretty good on The Good Wife a few weeks ago. He played a lawyer who gained sympathy with the jury due to his medical condition -- it was cool to see that he could play a character that used his condition in a sleazy underhanded way.

He was tons of crazy on Rescue Me a few years back.

Mr. J Fox I salute you. You kept me entertained as a yoot with classics such as the Back to the Future trilogy, Family Ties, Teen Wolf, and Spin City.
:salut:

i agree; i didn't catch what illness he had in the show but i liked that angle, too. nice to see that he wasn't playing a "goodie" guy like he totally could.

i've been watching "family ties" on the hub the past few weeks; that kid MADE that show watchable. fox was an underrated actor.

I never get sick of Back To The Future and his work on Family
Ties is good as well. He's been nothing but a class act through
this whole situation. Best of luck MJF.

Parkinson's is a hell of a disease. Had to watch my grandmother go through it, it isnt easy on the person or the family. For him to still be acting and going on live TV is a testament to his strength.

Muhammad Ali and Fox should have a boxing match.

He did some funny guest work on Scrubs a few years ago about an OCS doctor who winds up taking a dump on the roof. Funny stuff.

his first movie was in 1980 called "midnight madness"; "bright lights" was actually made at the height of his career and i think the studio was afraid to show him use cocaine because it would taint his "wholesome" image. interesting thing was, it was an image. through the 80's he was a huge alcoholic.

Wow, it was actually made after Back to the Future. I didn't realize that.

He was the first poster that went up in my room and Back to the Future was probably the first grown up movie my parents took me to see. I liked him in The American President. The Hard Way entertains me. I thought he was pretty good in Casualties of War even thought I find it hard to watch the movie. He is very likeable to me.

I've enjoyed Michael J. Fox's work over the years. He was the straw that served the drink on "Family Ties" back in the '80s. He was really good in the "Back to the Future" movies, which have been popping up on places like ABC Family, DIRECTV 311, and ION Television, which is WCPX 38 locally as well as DIRECTV 305 & 347, on weekend afternoons lately.

It's just tough to see him constantly shaking, a sure sign of his battle with Parkinson's Disease, whether it's in a political ad for stem cell research or in a recent interview with Katie Couric on "The CBS Evening News". That's not acting, as Conservative blowhard Rush Limbaugh claimed...
