When I say REALITY, I am talking about the shows about REAL people doing their jobs, not the Housewives, MTV, staged bullshit. (Even though I do tune in for Bad Girls Club as you never know when you get a 3 way lesbian night or a good cat fight)

GOLD RUSH - Only 1 Episode so far, sets the stage, but they faded out on episode 1 with a great statement from the old man saying "Every man has a part of them thats wants to be doing what we are doing." and I agree with him, however hey dropped some stats tha during the actual gold rush of over 4,000 miners, only 4 became millionaires. Not the worst odds. Gotta admit, wanna see these guys make it.

ICE ROAD TRUCKERS - Keep It! Just waiting for NYC Taxi Drivers next.

STORAGE WARS - Another New One. First show was good, got a feeling this one gets old in a hurry.

AUCTION KINGS - Not bad, but where did all the country bumpkins get alll this extra cash to blow on this shit????

AMERICAN PICKERS- Ground Zero of most of these shows. I am a fan of the show.

PAWN STARS - Top of the heap. Great cast, Good cool stuff! Chumly!

SWAMP LOGGERS - Mill Closed, Equipment Broke, Not making enough $$$, I don't mind watching it, but can write every episode.

CAKE BOSS - It's a fucking Cake! Really boring stuff now.

TOP CHEF - Contrived crap.

PAWN QUEENS - This one cracks me up. 2 ladies, 2 gus in Naperville opened a pawn shop, I ma guessing after seeing the Pawn Stars show? At least thats what it looks like. It's like they have a Pawn store with nothing for sale??? Watched it once and laughed. Can I wager they will be out of business in a year?

AMERICAN CHOPPER - The original as far as I am concerned. Got a little Sopranos to it. Show's old, just waiting for the final blowout.

I have never heard of any of the shows listed, and I am convinced that you are making at least 89% of them up.

Billy the Exterminator- Acquired taste, kinda weird, but he is nice to the animals and reptiles.

American Restoration- Spinoff from Pawn Stars. I enjoy seeing some of that old stuff brought back to life by a skilled craftsman.

Brew Masters- Love seeing a show about a craft brewery. I like it, but I like brewing and understand the fundamentals of brewing already. If you don't know that or homebrew you probably find this to be weird and boring.

Restoration, I did see 1 Episode, didnt hold my attention and I thought I would like it.

Brew Masters was OK as well. Just dont like snobby Beer drinkers in any form.

Billy is OK as well. Little contrived with the outfits

Pawn Stars is old after 2 episodes .... well, I don't know anything about guns that were used by former presidents as a cattle douche, but I know a guy that loves that stuff; let's give him a call and assume that he won't lowball the value because I give him a cut ....

The latest episodes of American Chopper have been very good. I always thought Paulie was the tool and Paul Sr. the good guy, but the complete opposite is true. Paul Sr. has become a giant dick, even suing his own son. He got bad advice from the jackwagon ass kissers in his office trying to go international and trying to make "production" bikes right at the turn of the recession. Nice to see Jr. make amends with Vinnie and Nub.

I watch a lot of reality television and when I analyze the intellectual benefit of the other shows I watch with them I don't really see much of a difference.

I enjoy the show "How I Met Your Mother" but I can't really come up with a valid reason why it's any better or worse than Jersey Shore. People always say "The show is staged. It's not real! They are setup by the producers! They are just acting stupid". Well, isn't that pretty much true of any sitcom too?

The first part of this new season was fairly good, but the one that debuted monday sucked a fat dick. No one built anything. It was all family drama and a super fast assembly of a bike at OCC. This show is good when Jr and Vin are actually physically designing and building something. It started to suck more and more because OCC would basically just use the water jet to cut an entire bike out of a slab metal.

You have all missed the most obvious show Deadliest Catch.

I don't watch any of these shows. I watched Deadliest Catch for one season.

The only reality show I watch is The Amazing Race.

I hear you, but I still found it interesting that Paul Sr. couldn't even bring himself to go to Paulie's wedding.

Plus Paulie is still a tool for letting that kid build the ATV.

Not the best, but after all the fame and fortune, it is sad to see them fighting in court

Plus, yes I'm a big Deadliest Catch fan. And Hoarders.

Deadliest Catch is cool. Lobster Wars. Pawn Stars. American Pickers. American Restoration.
American Chopper is pretty boring now. Auction Kings, Storage Wars, and Ice Road Truckers are average...
I used to watch Monster Garage and Big back in the day.
I don't care about the food shows.

well, yes, "the jersey shore" is staged. but unlike shows like "how i met your mother" or other sitcoms, the people in that show aren't ACTING.

They are not staged as to these peoples lives. Sure they cut what they want and edit things up, but do you think the Swamp Loggers are living in a mansion and going to Mexico on a trip?

I don't ever see the guy from Ice Road truckers appearing at a club,,,Jersey shore like.

This. Though, there seemed like a lot of drama this season and Reed is a bit of a tool. Apparently Sean's movie is coming out next summer. I'll see it for sure. Also sucks that its such a short season.

That and Pawn Stars are my favorites. I do like Ice Road Truckers, but not this new one in Bangladesh or wherever they are at.

I might have watched the first hoarders, but that is just freak show TV.

Man v Food, I will watch but I am just getting sick of him telling me how good the 6 burgers, bacon, cole slaw, french fries, mega samwiches are. "The way the cole slaw plays off the bacon...blah blah"

I am not a fan of this repackaging of Man V Food as the Carnivore Chronicles. It is the exact same show and same clips just chopped up and put in a different order.

Caught the first two episodes of Storage Wars yesterday. Meh. It was kind of
interesting I guess when they find something cool, I was more intrigued by how
much crap people keep around. I find American Pickers to be a better show
about essentially the same thing.
