Friends insisted on seeing this. One of the worst movies I've ever seen. Truly, shockingly awful.

Very cool movie dissecting fate through quantum mechanics. Acting was solid. Even supporting actors like Jeffrey Wright and Vera Farmiga are great. The concepts are way out there, but anyone who enjoyed Quantum Leap, Deja Vu, or Moon should enjoy this film.

Glad the director Duncan Jones is being discussed for the next Wolverine project.

I saw an extended preview of this movie, and the first thing I thought was, "This is a complete ripoff of Deja Vu". Am I right? I actually liked Deja Vu, so I may give this one a shot when it gets to video.

That's exactly what I thought when I first saw a trailer for this flick, but the movies aren't that similar. Both movies deal with quantum mechanics in a different way. I guess a better way to put it is I thought Source Code was a more believable quantum scenario than Deja Vu. I can't go too in depth without giving away anything DB, but 'Source Code' is definitely rentable.

I really thought Deja Vu was an underrated film. One of the last movies Val Kilmer was actually decent in. Caviziel is pretty great too. First role for him after the Passion, IIRC.
