it seems like shawn ryan was given a contract to do a chicago cop show and he said "for that cash? what you want the show to be?".

maybe in a few years it will mature, but i think the creator is out of his place when he cant do a show the way he wants. this is nothing like the shield. this show is boarderline retarded. 2 shows in and i feel forced to watch the remaining 8 shows that will ever be made what the fuck.
