I didn't see tonight's show, as I think Daniel Tosh's show* is a horrible affront to quality comedy everywhere.... but am I correct in assuming that tonight's web redemption featured him dressed up in some sort of half-naked/skintight/spandexesque or crossdressing getup while he mugged for the camera?

Joel Mchale has a good clip show cuz he allows the audience to feel like it's in on the joke, right there alongside him. Daniel Tosh looks down at you and sneers from his high perch, just itching to get half-naked and act the fool around some washed up youtube meme every week.

* = from what little i've seen, the guy seems to be pretty good at standup, where his persona comes off better.

Good comparison. With McHale, I think he is the exact opposite. He's great on The Soup, but his standup act is horrible.
