I was planning to stick it out for the season despite the fact that this show has been garbage for 3 years now, but I don't think I'm gonna make it. I still can't bring myself to watch last week's episode and I'm getting really close to just deleting the season pass.

Anyone else give up on this crap show?

Yeah I gave up on it a few seasons ago. It was the season where E was dating a girl with the matchstick body and huge dome and then ended up back with Sloan. Turned into some sort of Lifetime drama crap and whatever I gave it up.

I'm still watching it but not sure why. I keep looking for the hot-t0pless-chick part of the show, and they haven't even gone there this season. They are planning a movie after the series ends. A movie about what? why?

You are smart not to watch. The stuff with Ari is decent, the story line with drama had potential but is going nowhere, other than that the others could die in a fiery crash and it wouldnt matter. I hoped it would go out on a good note, but so far very disappointed this season.

I want E and Turtle to die in a fiery crash.

Vinnie and Ari to end up broke.

And Drama end up being a bazillionaire,

E dating the dramatic eleven year old should have been my sign to stop watching. I've kept going. This season isn't horrible, but it's certainly not good.

I must have only watched episodes after it began sucking. I've watched a couple of times and it was neither fun nor funny and I hated the cast.

I always wonder why they decided to have the Ari character wear his suits a few sizes too small. That is a sweet wig Piven sports on the show though.

I thought he got plugs. It's funny seeing him in pre-Entourage movies where he's pretty much bald.

Maybe. I think that might be a wig hat though.

I thought the Medellin season was pretty good. The season finale where Vince got the Gatsby role was good, too. But yeah, it's been bad for awhile. I still keep watching, though. I'm a glutton for punishment.

Ya I dont know why I watch , probably because there's nothing else on during that time.

Basically the show has become the male sex and the city.

Every male on the show has been emasculated.

All the actors suck except for Dillon and the guy who plays Ari.

I don't think the guy playing E and Turtle and Vince are ever going to get anything else after this show is done. Check out Adrian Grenier IMDB, he's got nothing lined up after Entourage.

There is a theory on the internet that the decline in the show a few seasons back began when a female writer, Ally Musika, started writing many of the episodes. Doug Ellin, the creator, is also rumored to be in a romantic relationship with said woman. Take that for what it's worth.

When you type in Ally Musika into google it auto fills to Ally Musika ruined entourage. By the way I love the Geoff Peterson avatar. Best show in late night.

I think that is closer to fact than theory. You can almost always tell the difference between the Musika and Ellin episodes. To me, one of the big differences between the two is that Ellin actually seems to like the show's characters whereas Musika seems to despise them (especially Ari).

I've found this season to be decent, but I've got such low expectations that even 3 minutes of enjoyment is enough for me. I watched the first few seasons on dvd which I think I preferrred. This show really is about 2 hours of actual content a season and a bunch of filler. That's why I think the movie could be good. They won't need to spend hours on Turtle's alcohol and restaurant business and they can instead concentrate on Ari, Drama, and Vince.

The only time I cared about this show was when Artie Lange made a cameo as a fat disgusting human being married to Leslie Mann. They had him shirtless and poolside smacking her in the ass and whatnot, and Artie dutifully reported on the Howard Stern Show (goodnight, sweet prince) that Leslie was totally creeped out and offended by him and stayed as far away from him as she possibly could when the cameras weren't rolling.... good times!

Anyways, just about the last thing I want to see and revel in is some sort of hollywood-based-love-letter to itself coming from the creative brilliance of the guy behind Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch. Marky Mark's great contribution to hip hop culture was beating Puff Daddy to the concept of showing off your underwear (i.e. making ass-crack the new cleavage) fashionable by about 10 years.

Also, I get the vibe that Jeremy Piven is likely some sort of douchebag who has the ability to make other douchebags bow down and kiss the ring, which means he was pitch perfect for the part he plays, evidently.

I'm not sure if I've ever related my Piven story in this forum. You'll pardon me if I'm repeating myself. My girlfriend has actually numbered my stories.

Piven was in my sister's class all the way from sixth grade through high school. I wouldn't say she was good friends with him, but they certainly had friends in common and knew each other pretty well.

One of my sister's really good friends was Piven's first girlfriend. I'm changing her name here because she is a nice person. So one day I'm sitting at home and the phone rings and it's some dude sounding all frantic calling for my sister. So I yell to my sister that it's for her. She talks for a while and comes out of her bedroom with a big ass grin. So I asked her what that was all about.

She said, "That was Jeremy Piven. He and Jenny just did it for the first time and Jenny is bleeding all over. He wanted to know what to do."

I asked, "So, what did you tell him?"

She said, "I told him she'll stop bleeding soon and to wash the sheets in cold water."

I thought last night's episode was pretty good. Not surprisingly, Ally Musika did not receive a writing credit for it.

Yeah I noticed that, too. The consequences being that the women were less vindictive and the men less emasculated. Doug Ellin and Turtle got the writing credit.
