I remembered that it was hosted on AMC webpage for the show last year. It turns out this season is the same. I watched it Friday night, so they must put it up 4-5 days after the original airing.

Episode 1:

I liked it. It had its tense moments. The breakup of the group seems illogical to me. They can live with a dangerous racist perfectly fine, but infidelity, well that's worthy something you risk your life over.

I think the story of this episode was the depth added to the zombie characters. They hunt in roving packs. They seem to have more intellectual capacity. I couldn't understand what they were doing at the church. I interpreted it to mean: 1) when the church bells rang in the past, food came to them so the instintively went to the church or 2) even the older zombies have some memory that was previously reserved only for the new zombies (the mother in Season 1 Episode 2 returning to her home), or 3)prayer is just another example of community that these zombies are starting to develop as human but not quite human.

When are the zombies going to walk into a 28 Days Later type of problem where they no longer have food? I know they have eaten rats and they finally showed them eating a dog in episode 1.

Did they ever say whether the characters have knowledge that this is a worldwide pandemic? I cannot recall from the CDC episode.
