Like him or loathe him, Ryan Seacrest is everywhere, or so it seems. In Los Angeles, Seacrest wakes up early to host a very popular morning radio show "On Air", which airs locally on tape delay weekday afternoons on 103.5 KISS-FM. Seacrest also hosts E! News everyday with co-host Giuliana Rancic, Monday-Friday @ 6 & 10:30p.

Want more? Seacrest also hosts the weekly "American Top 40" radio countdown show every weekend on Premiere Radio Networks, the syndication arm of radio giant ClearChannel, which owns KISS-FM locally and KIIS-FM, the L.A. flagship of Seacrest's daily "On Air" show. In recent years, Ryan has done the heavy lifting, hosting for an aging, ailing Dick Clark on Dick's annual "New Year's Rockin' Eve" from New York's Times Square on ABC. Of course, Seacrest will be back in January as host of yet another season of the music competition "American Idol" on FOX, too.

If that's not enough, Seacrest's production company is partly responsible for the countless seasons of E!'s "Keeping Up With The Kardashians", as well as its spinoffs "Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami", "Khloe & Lamar" featuring the Lakers' Lamar Odom and "Kourtney & Kim Take New York". Seacrest's production company is also responsible for the "The Spin Crowd", a reality series showcasing the goings on at a L.A. based P.R. firm that aired last summer on E!.

Why do I mention all of these shows on Seacrest's resume? According to the Wall Street Journal, Seacrest is being rumored as a possible replacement for Matt Lauer on NBC News' "Today Show". The rumor comes as Lauer, a fixture on the network's morning news/talk franchise since 1997, could be leaving "Today" when his contract expires early next year.

As for the Seacrest/"Today" rumors, the Journal reports that the multimedia star met with NBC executives, including NBC News President Steve Capus, "Today" executive producer Jim Bell & Senior V.P. of Marketing & Communications Lauren Kapp Tuesday about possibly succeeding Lauer on the show. The Journal's report also confirmed a similar report last August in Mediaite that if Lauer were to walk, Seacrest would be NBC's first choice despite his lack of hard news experience. Neither side is commenting.

Seacrest has also been mentioned as a possible replacement on another morning show, the one now known as "Live with Kelly". The celebrity gabfest, seen locally on WGN's CW9 weekdays at 9a, is currently hosted by Kelly Ripa with various guest co-hosts sitting in until producers find a permanent replacement for the now retired Regis Philbin on the New York-based talk show.
