Jim Parsons has quietly come out of the closet. In a new profile in the New York Times, The Big Bang Theory star is matter-of-factly described "gay and in a 10-year relationship." Parsons never directly addresses his sexuality or elaborates on the remark in the profile, and his rep had no additional comment when reached. The Times profile couches its revelation in the context of the actor's most recent Broadway role as Tommy Boatwright in Larry Kramer's powerful play, The Normal Heart, about gay men dying of AIDS in New York in the '80s.

Not with kids. You almost have to make an appointment. You have to wait for odd hours or the grandparents to take them away for a few hours to get in a porn level session otherwise you get in a quiet quickie when a good cartoon is on.

If I may defend it for a minute, it's actually one of the more unique and interesting shows on television. It's not easy to combine science and humor and they do a real job of making sure they aren't just making up sciency sounding stuff.

I don't know if it's fair to lump it in with other shows.

Big Bang Theory is a steaming pile of shit. A lot of my friends keep saying how hilarious it is and that I JUST HAVE to watch it. Fuck that noise, I tried more than once and never even cracked a smile.

I've caught an episode or two. I don't really like it or dislike it. It's just, kinda there...you know? Like meh. I don't find it actively horrible. There's other things I'd rather see if I'm watching TV, but there's also far worse stuff on TV too.
