It's getting horrible reviews. I like it when Cruise plays different characters than the usual (like in Tropic Thunder), but just judging by the previews, they filled this shit up with way too much cheese.

It should have been more along the lines of Guns N Roses video for "Welcome to the Jungle".

I saw a preview in a theater that was more "a making of" than a preview. One of the stars or creators said this a musical that men will want to see. They are desperate to make this more than a chick flick.

Yeah...this was pretty much what I expected...

...a lot of music I like listening to...but I'd much rather hear it from the people who made it famous...not these fuckers.

Only thing I found noteworthy was the bromance between Brand and Baldwin's characters...haven't seen something like that this side of Katie O's...

I saw it yesterday with my wife. She loved it and I didn't hate it. Not only for the music but seeing Julianna Hough on a stripper poll and Malin Ackerman in her underwear on top of a pool table kind of holds a guys interests. Also,Catherine Zeta Jones still very MILFY. I think the movie would have been better if they made it "real world". They could still have had the music. Kind of like Purple Rain.
