Solid entertainment. Harrison Ford is not looking good...he looks like he's ready to fall apart or blow away like dandelion spores. the cast is very good, especially the additions of antonio banderas and the new kids (Ronda Rousey is hot). even kelsey grammar is fun, and mel gibson is damn good even if he is a raging prick.

it occurred to my friend and i that the big gun action flick is a dead genre...the comic book action movie has pretty much taken its place. but the explosions, machismo, that's all the charm in this film and this one's probably the most satisfying of the 3.

it's good fun, and it's worth seeing in on the big screen. dolph's a hoot.

:D :D :D out of :D :D :D :D

I enjoyed it.

Banderas was good in his role. Mel Gibson was good.

Arnold looks horrible.

I heard they're doing another Terminator movie, and Arnold has top billing. Not really sure how they can even pull that off, but I'm 99.9% sure it will be horrible.

Better than Nick Stahl having top billing. Great in Sin City. Carnavle he was also good but man a lead in a blockbuster type. Just insane. Wasn't Bale signed on for three?

WZ, please forgive me if I ever thought you were a film snob.
This may not have been great art, by any means, but it was well-done, fast-paced and a whole lot of fun to watch.
I think it's great you can enjoy a movie like this as well as deeper, more artistic films, as well.

Brought in $16 mill....major bomb for the studio right now. $500 mill was the value on the whole syndication of everything involved in it.

I usually dont follow this crap, but it was on CNBC on what a mega $$$ bust this could be

thanks sarles. i need to catch "sabotage" too, and still need to see "escape plan".

that's a shame it's bombing and that goddamn ninja turtles abomination is killing at the box office. but i can't say i'm surprised. i don't think this generation cares much for aging action stars and the older generation doesn't like going out to the movies anymore. i don't blame them. it cost me $24 for 2 tickets. and i saw a matinee.

That was the criticism. The 60+ gang as action heros might not have been a great idea.

well i think stallone knew that and that's why he introduced some younger guys. they're just not big names because there really isn't a major action star outside of the rock right now. and he's not getting the rock to do these films.

but it's good stuff.

Two movies I saw this season were Captain America & that Tom Cruise Sci-Fi flick. I usually go every week during the summer but I really didn't feel compelled to see these tired rehashes of the same stuff.
I might go see Guardians of the Galaxy & The November Man. If you catch the matinees it's still only 6.50. Not bad.

dont they realize a big part of the reason terminator 1 and 2 were so good was because the actual terminator looked like someone that could terminate things?

why dont they just get another muscle building aussie for the role? i think people have accepted the fact that arnold is history
