Microsoft is doing a live-action web series leading up to the release of Halo 4...I've known about this for a while but have ignored it because everything I had seen about it lead me to believe it was nothing more than a promotional tool for the game...gave the trailer a looksie just now.

While I'm still not completely sold that this will be all that great, and this does very little to make me forgive Microsoft for fucking up the film adaptation that should have been done years ago, the shots of Master Chief (even if I find the 117 on his chest obnoxiously aggressive) have me intrigued.

Maybe...just maybe...this doesn't completely suck, Microsoft realizes that they can't dictate absurd terms to Hollywood in return for the movie rights, and we eventually get the proper feature film many have hoped for.
