Did anyone catch this? Although most of us know the stories of how these guys blow their money its still mind boggling to see the shit they spent it on. Aside from the luxury items, the bad investments and crooked financial advisors really preyed on some of these guys.

I do with they went more in-depth with the stories. Developed them more. It was good but could have been way better

Yeah, I was hoping to hear about what the guys were doing now, and what they would do differently, and advice to players now.

I was really interested in this and I thought it was awful. I ended up falling asleep before the end.

It was just interview after interview. They should have picked a guy or two and went in-depth - shown their lives before and now.

It was just 10-second sound byte after sound byte. Not very interesting at all.

I noticed I missed the first showing of this and DVR'd it later in the night. Was going to watch this evening
and I will post my thoughts. Upcoming episodes appear to cover such topics as the 100 meter dash with
Ben Johnson at the 1988 Olympics, a story about the original rules of basketball written by James Naismith,
the tragic death of Ben Wilson a dynamic prep basketball player and racial segregation at Ole Miss in the early
60s.

I have a hard time enjoying documentaries that are entirely based on hearsay. I did not see "Broke", but did they actually have proof of the spending habits or was it just "I heard this guy spent $XX million on rodeo clowns"?

I didn't see it, but I heard Dan Patrick, as well as The SCORE's "McNeil/Spiegel Show" discussing it, albeit briefly. I've gotta think ESPN's many family of networks will rerun "Broke" at some point.

I can't disagree with your assesment after watching this last night. Very disjointed and way too much
cutting from one guy to the next. Not a good start for season 2 of these shows.

I watched about the first 20 mins of it and turned it off. Boring.

Of all the guys interviewed, Bernie Kosar looked absolutely broken down. He was sweating profusely
like he was just coming off a bender. Early on he had beads of sweat all over his neck, later in the
documentary he had sweat through his shirt in various spots. Really uncomfortable to see.

I hear alot of Bernie on the radio station I can pull from Cleveland. He sounds happy sauced every time he is on but he knows exactly what he is talking about so idk if its just him sounding like that or what.

Don't B&B have a collection of drops of Kosar doing color commentary from a college broadcast or preseason game from a couple years back? I remember him sounding extremely hammered in those, unless I have him confused with someone else.

He did do Browns pre season games in the past and did in fact sound hammered so it probably was him.
