While auditions for season #2 of "The X Factor" continue tomorrow night @ 7P on FOX32, it won't be much longer before the U.S. version of Simon Cowell's talent competition goes live. When they go live next month, Cowell has found his new hosts.

Replacing British import Steve Jones, whose contract as host wasn't renewed after the very first season of the U.S. version, will be someone who's no stranger to hosting. The other is someone who might already be guilty of overexposure, thanks to her "reality" shows that continue to air on E!.

That someone who's no stranger to hosting is Mario Lopez, currently host of the entertainment news show "Extra" weekdays @ 4P on NBC5, and host of MTV's hit dance competition "Randy Jackson Presents: America's Best Dance Crew". Mario's co-host is Khloe Kardashian-Odom, one of the "co-stars" of those countless (or I should say 'Kountless') Kardashian "reality" shows that continue to air on E!. See what I did there?

Terms of Mario & Khloe's contracts as new hosts of "The X Factor" weren't disclosed, but they'll round out quite a new look for Cowell's competition that features Britney Spears & Demi Lovato as new judges for the show's second season, currently airing Wednesday & Thursday nights @ 7P on FOX with Pepsi as the presenting sponsor.

"The X Factor" would have been just fine if they named Mario Lopez as solo host. He'll do just fine in my opinion. Needless to say, he's come a long way from "A.C. Slater" on "Saved by the Bell".

Hosting the X factor isn't actually all that far from being on Saved by the Bell SHARK

Khloe once again on a show where she will be the dominant male figure.

I'm not much of a fan of the show to begin with, but having any Kardashian hosting it basically kills any chance I'll want to watch.

Good point. It was part of the news cycle though and it wasn't made official until yesterday.
