Pretty awesome movie. Big improvement over the last one. Probably a big improvement over the last couple of X-Men flicks. Also worth staying for the credits.

what a coincidence, i just got home from this. i refuse to stay to the end credits but i already know what happens.

i agree, very appealing film. jackman is at the top of his game in this one, and the story moves at a good pace. the viper is a bit underused and the climactic "battle" with her left me a bit flat but that chick is smoking hot.

angus you must've been in hog heaven with this one.

overall i enjoyed the film and definitely thought it was better than its predecessor. there are some predictable bits that just come with the territory of comic book hero movies. but it didn't suffer from it.

and, don't waste your money on the 3D. as usual, it's nothing special. honestly i didn't want to see it in 3D but the showtime worked better for me than the 2D one.

fun movie.

:D :D :D out of :D :D :D :D

I have seen all the Xmen movies since my wife loves them. I do not remember much about any of them but did enjoy this movie a lot.

Are they planning more X-Men movies or was the post credits scene a way to incorporate the X-Men into the larger Marvel movie universe?

SPOILER ALERT?

I think they have to go w/ making more of them. Fox owns the movie rights to the X-Men, while the others are owned by other studios. I know Universal has the rights to Spidey, & I'm not sure who has the Avengers' rights (I think Marvel made that series w/ their own studio). So, unfortunately, a movie w/ all of the Marvel Universe might be out of the question.

I guess they do have another X-Men movie coming out next May.

Days of Future Past.

If that's like the comic story, it'll be great.

This is the second solo Wolverine movie.

But you could argue that the first 2 X-Men movies were about Wolverine too.

Wolverine was one of the better movies I saw this year. The director is the guy who directed the remake of "3:10 to Yuma". A Western that even got my wife to say she liked it. That Viper chick looks exactly like the blonde prostitute from "Enter the Dragon". If you watched closely,it looks like that actress had her lines redubbed. It just looked that way to me. The young Asian actress Wolverine was trying to protect was hot.

The movie itself had actual tension in it. It's something you don't always feel at a "Superhero" movie.
I liked the first Wolverine movie except for that horrible over the top ending.

I hated what they did to Deadpool.
