documentary about Burning Man.
Kind of cool to see this group of hippies that just wanted to be wasted for a week and literally do whatever they wanted to, to now all be in there 60's arguing at conference tables in their corporate offices.
Essentially it is the issue that anyone would have with a ideal society. When it gets too big, it doesnt maintain anymore and its funny watching them bitch at each other without ever recognizing it.
I guess the last few years they only sold 55,000 tickets to the event. This then kicked out the regulars from years past in a lottery system. The rules, law, safety, etc that needed to be set down, made it seem like more of a police state than the druggedoutartistfuckfest I guess it has always been.
So, while it would all be great, if we all just got along and loved one and other, just see that 55,000 people is the breaking point for a group of strangers for 1 week in the middle of nowhere.
Ike, has it right, Gotta move to Canada in a log cabin!
