you know why you never heard of this movie b4? because the REALLY. SMART. PEOPLE. doing their marketing didin't figure out that -nado captures the essence of the human spirit and compels people to watch things as unsightly as 2010s tara reid. this movie should have been called alienado.

it's kind of like there was that one movie from a year or two about a jail in outer space.... i remember seeing the trailers for it 2 or 3 times, but i never saw the movie and now i can't remember it's name.... you know why?

that movie should have been called spacejail. that's why. all it takes is a memorable name and you're off and running, yet these clowns decided to go with "alien tornado" instead of the euphonic alienado that could have undercut the sharknado buzz before there ever was any sharknado buzz. hell syfy quickly cranked out a movie called stoneado (or something with giant heavy things in a tornado whose name was *-ado) and you know sharknado 2: electric bugaloo is coming, so when these alien tornado mofos see the $$$/glory going to the sharknado ppl they gotta be sitting there thinking "that should have been us, man.... goddammit that should have been us. we'll at least get tara reid for the next one.... and hey what's amy acker doing? brian krause? boom we've got a cast"

btw panther, if you woulda told me that gary graham is in the movie i would have watched. jeff fahey was fine in machete but he doesn't bring me back for repeat views like sykes the robot joxer does.

Everyone should have seen the name of the movie, its 177 on my cable and 173 is ESPN, 166 NFl network and 175 Pickers! So when doing a scan of whats on you cant miss the word ALIEN TORNADO

The two times I flipped over to this, there were neither aliens nor tornados...or Kari Wuhrer showing the goods.

so the formula is hot chick + tornado + "insert whatever the fuck you want here" = wannabe viral hit?
