It's only going to be 12 episodes. Shouldn't they change the name to "12"?

I'd say the main reason someone would tell you that in the case of 24 is that the first season is the best...

Why? Aren't the best things the ones that are great from beginning to end?

Does anybody say, "skip the first hour of The Godfather, you only need to catch the end"?

If something is great, don't you want to see the whole thing? If someone is telling you to watch the whole thing, it would stand to reason it's because that's what makes it great.

I love Justified but I'd say you could probably skip the whole first season and you'd still get a great show.

Breaking Bad you should watch from beginning to end.

Well I wouldn't recommend watching it backwards.

yeah IIRC isn't jack on the run from both the CIA and the russians? something about him once again doing the dirty work for everyone mixed in with a fair amount of revenge for the fine-yet-annoying renee walker getting offed by a sniper.

even tho we've seen jack on the run before, methinks he'll have to coordinate some secret ops with chloe/buchanan b4 CTU or whatever officially brings him back in the fold because the plausible deniability of an ex-asset gone "rogue" will be needed for a sticky situation.... unless the whole season is jack the hunted having london get blowed the fuck up all around him, that'd be kind of cool.

but hey, what can i say? cultural icon hearkening back to those glorious-in-retrospect bush years.... you know, back when the net was neutral cuz it wasn't as de-facto militarized as it is nowadays. good times.... good times indeed!

hey did they ever tell us who killed wayne palmer, aka cerrano's lilbro who i believe was the president in season 7 and trying to keep the vice president from inheriting the office up until he announced fayed or whoever the first-form-final-boss was and then he keeled over into a coma and proceeded to let that dastardly vice president become the real prez?

of course the female president came in (between that and the signorney weaver show it's gotta be some predictive programming to get us "ready" for hillary!) so idk if it was swept under the rug or if it just wasn't made obvious in the wikipedia articles for wayne/season-7. i still get the later years all mixed up cuz after saunders' daughter it's all a blur to me.

btw i really really miss saunders' daughter. she was fine.
