I'll miss the show

USA's spy hit Burn Notice is will end after its upcoming seventh season, the network announced Friday.

"Burn Notice has had an incredible run over the last six years, and we could not be more proud of the extraordinary talent both in front of and behind the cameras who have collectively made this show into one of the most popular and lauded shows on TV today," USA Network Co-President Chris McCumber said in a statement.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, USA is open to reviving Burn Notice, which stars Jeffrey Donovan, Gabrielle Anwar, Bruce Campbell and Sharon Gless, in the future in possible different iterations.

Burn Notice's final 13-episode season will premiere Thursday, June 6 at 9/8c

I like this show but it's time. Can only have so many secret levels of govt people out to get you. Seven seasons is a damn good run nowadays.

I just wonder if the way the end the show, is sadly to have Michael die, I never get the feeling they will have Michael and Fiona end up together where there retired and shown they will end up married.

Last season got pretty ridiculous after a few episodes.

Writers: Hmmm...how can we stop/delay them all from leaving the country THIS week?

I'd say it's time, but it was a fun show!

I agree about last season.
I was late to this show, started watching it 2.5 years ago, I had the DVDs of the first 3 seasons netflixed for the weekend after I had surgery and the weekend turned into the full week. It seems to have lost its way in the last two years.

this show let me down in the end because i thought his undead father was going to show up to be the ultimate big bad behind his whole "burn notice." c'est la vie.

satisfying? i'm going to take it that you had a secret desire to see cagney/lacey/etc light up that cigarette, eh?

technically spoilers, to the dwindling <10%ile that cares/d/etc >>

if i'm not mistaken, at the end of the show a couple'a episodes ago wasn't michael a mere doorway away from ending this properly with james and sonya and the CIA.... but he had to get all (using the parlance of our times) >MUH SIMON and spout some shit about "losing the mission" and all this and that and this and that and in the end because of that dumbass decision his own mother had to go out like a badass. the actual sendoff was nice, but kind of forced and ham-fisted.... like the whole episode. the over the top camraderie, the little part with jesse talking about family.... blah blah blah blah blah whatever. it was an awfully convenient time for michael to develop a "death wish" for the sake of having forced emotional scenes with that english chick whose face seems to be melting very very slowly. she was in that michael j fox movie about being a farm boy making it in NYC a long time ago... hell, didn't she look human in scent of a woman?!?! yikes.

whatever the case, it's over and USA can continue it's quest to take us to exotic locales featuring beautiful people with problems sponsored by hyundai, the official car of badass ex-pressgangers with melting faces since ~2010.

I liked the ending too, especially adding the lines from the opening.

I didn't think Michael and Fiona would end up together, but part of me is glad they did.

I'm with Sini on this episode/ending.
If you pay attention to the logic of this last season, it completely falls apart. Too much side switching.
I'm glad with how it ended but it could have gotten there better.
And the Sam Axe spin off would have been a thing.

Just finished the last season.

Some real cringeworthy moments in the last episode. That was one quality rant right there, sini. Killer stuff.
