That's right,I saw it this morning at 10 am in Barrington. The price of a bargain ticket is 6.58???
Why not just make it 6.60? Anyway, first time I have seen a movie since last June. A pretty crowded theater for 10 AM.

REVIEW: I loved the first movie. I thought it was a really cool movie. The longer this series has continued, the bigger the separation from reality. I thought they really started to lose it in the last one but this new entry makes FF6 look like a documentary. I'm not going to give anything away here, suffice it to say the "loving Bro" looks are here and so is the talk of family among one of the dumbest story lines I have ever seen in any action movie of this type. I guess that stuff should bother me,but I don't care. I loved this movie. The stunts and fight scenes are great even though "Mano e Mano" stuff once again suffers from the "quick edit" technique prevalent in so many action movies of today.

I give it 3 out of 4 plates of pasta. A great way to start off the summer movie season!!

So this is in the "Stupid Fun" style of movie.
Kind of how I feel about Under Siege. That movie was so awful that it was good.
Plus.... TITTIES!

Saw this Thursday night. I have never seen any of these films. My gf wanted to see it. I thought it was pretty good, and a decent tribute to Paul Walker at the end. Really hope the rumors of doing one or 2 more are false.

Furious 7

April 4, 2015

Furious 7 opened to a stunning $67.3 million on Friday, which puts it on track to earn close to $150 million over the three-day weekend.

That opening day ranks 10th all-time, and is on par with The Hunger Games and The Dark Knight. It's up 74 percent on Fast & Furious 6, which was the previous best debut in the 14-year-old franchise. In a single day, Furious 7 has already earned more than the third installment in the franchise (The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift) grossed during its entire run.

The big question now is how well the movie holds up on Saturday and Sunday. Reviews are good, and word-of-mouth is strong ("A" CinemaScore), though this is also part of a franchise that's notoriously front-loaded. The low-end forecast is around $135 million, which would be double the Friday number; on the high end, it would play like Captain America: The Winter Soldier and wind up with nearly $180 million.

Vin Diesel walked from these movies until he found out that's all he has got is this franchise. He now has a producer credit,so he is bringing in millions.

btw i haven't seen this movie yet, but i am looking forward to seeing it. that said, here's my synopsis of this movie!

- what does this heist/car-chase/action-sequence have to do with anything?
- explosions explosions explosions
- hey, the gang's all back!
- OMFG JASON STATHAM!
- time for a token drag race
- whoa babes
- lol like diesel/walker wasn't gonna win
- mildly homoerotic smile-off between diesel/walker
- ok hey at least this heist/car-chase/action-sequence ostensibly has something to do with the plot
- whoa jason statham is evil... look at this evil shit he's doing!
- explosions explosions explosions
- lol ludacris is their computer guy
- awwww look this isn't a gang of criminals with a heart of gold, this is a [family]
- i really hope the coupling of 2 random crew members lasts the test of time. gal gadot needs love.
- this heist/car-chase/action-sequence has something to do with the plot
- explosions explosions explosions
- LOL WHOOPS THERE GOES PAUL WALKER
- explosions explosions explosions
- oh no that new relationship was soooo close to ending when ol girl almost died!
- everything is fucked now.... what are we gonna do? we need an idea and a prayer
- lol the rock just said something meta that mocked real life
- vin diesel with an inspirational speech about how they are FAMILY and anyone not willing to die for that better get out now.
- this heist/car-chase/action-sequence is the climax of the plot and OMFG DUDE HOW DID THEY DO THAT WITH THAT BIG/CRAZY-ASS THING?!?! PHYSICS BE DAMNED!!!!
- explosions explosions explosions explosions explosions BIG MOTHERFUCKING EXPLOSION
- awww why'd they have to kill off statham?
