haven't even seen it. never heard of it either. but i like the cast already after looking it up.

I just watched "The Final Season" on TV last week. It stars Sean Astin as a young HS baseball coach who takes over for a legendary coach. His team has one more go at it before their school gets merged with a much bigger HS. I thought it was pretty good.

When the Meat Truck comes on to the field for the skidding stop notice everyone jump back not looking to get hit...understandbly, except Ditka, who doesnt flinch!!!

The whole Coffee side story in the movie is hysterical.

When Ferrell starts dressing like Ditka...

I am fine with a movie that has funny scenes and lines, with the plot might suck.

FYI, There is a new LIFETIME Channel Movie coming about an adoption and I think the original mom comes after the family thing, one of those ultra terrible things in life that appeals to females that watch that channel (Was advertsied on some other channel) and who else do you get to star in such a serious movie Will Ferrell and Kristen Wig?

i was considering "last boyscout" but the football part of it is background noise more than it is part of the plot. it's more about gambling. love the movie though. shane black had action movies in his back pocket.

I just saw Summer Catch on and couldn't turn it off. It isn't even a good movie and doesn't have good actors but I like that its supposed to be about the Cape Cod League...just that makes it watchable every time.
