Seven Bridges in Woodridge has IMAX showings at 1:40 and 5:30 Friday morning.

The GF gets off work at midnight. May go then. Other than that, gonna have to wait until the middle of next week.

pffft, you honestly think i'd bother with going to a theater on a preordered ticket with hordes of idiots? i had episode 2 like 6 weeks before it came out. what do you think my avatar's from? don't watch this if you plan to go to see the movie cuz it's pretty much one of the most major parts of it.

honestly i was pretty damn sure this thing was going to be identical to the first star wars (ep4) and well.... well.... uhhh.... sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeit.

only star wars shirt i own is a star tours (disneyland) tie interceptor shirt from when i was like 10. tie interceptors are great.

He doesn't know. I'm picking him up from preschool then off we go.

I'll never forget when I went to see Lethal Weapon (2?) at the no longer around Edens Theater and I smuggled in a full glass bottle of vodka. We all bought large sprites and then dumped half out and filed the rest with vodka. Then, during a quiet part of the movie the glass bottle tipped over on the floor and rolled all the way to the front of the theater making a pretty audible noise the entire time. And just to cross-forum this post, Richard Dent was there.

He is 5, he watched the original trilogy and loved it but that was also because he has seen Star Wars Rebels and the Droid Tales. He loves star wars so much he was Darth Vader for halloween this year and he is aware of the new movie and asked if he can go see it.

He is also my youngest, so it might be an oldest/youngest difference in that he has been exposed to more than my oldest was at his age. He started watching star wars rebels because his older sisters were watching it.

Yeah, I used to sneak all kinds of alcohol into the Edens, Old Orchard, Golf Mill, Nor-Town, Norridge, and Evanston Theaters. It seemed like 90% of the kids I knew in high school and college were doing the same thing. I may have been drunk at the same showing of Lethal Weapon 2 that you attended.
