Don't want to risk clicking in the official thread. Seeing this tonight, worth springing for the IMAX 3D experience?

I enjoyed it that way but probably would not have enjoyed it much less standard.

I can remember only one scene in the movie where I said to myself "oh, 3D!"...that being said, I'd still go see the IMAX again just for the sheer scale and sound system.

I've never appreciated the attraction of 3D.

I made the mistake of seeing it in 3D first and then 2D. I enjoyed it much more in 2D, so I could focus more on the story. The 3D action was kind of cool, but it made many of the ships look too small in comparison to the surroundings.

I started in 3D. The preview for warcraft came on and the eagle/griffen flew at us, my son ran out of the theater.
We did 2D instead.

Saw it in 2D today and it looked good to me. Very good movie, brought back memories of watching the original trilogy as a kid.

Too late now, but I had seen it in 2D and thought it was just fine that way. I have also not gotten into 3D movies.
