Man alive, much like Sonny and Cher, it sounds like Silvy and Carm had a bit of a break-up.

Mac, Jurko and Carm were talking about broken bobbleheads in the office, cabinets turned over, desktops in disarray.

I hope Brian Swaw didn't get mistaken for a bobblehead and thrown across the office.

After yesterday's edition of Silvy and Waddle someone taped pictures of Waddle all over Silvy's work station. Silvy being the closet case he is, took great offense and blamed Carm. Silvy retaliated against the perceeived perpetrator by trashing Carm's work station. Knocking over bobble heads and the like. Carm walked in on Silvy trashing his work station. Carm professed his innocence to the Waddle pictures and cussed out Silvy. The parties exchanged words and Silvy left in a huff.

...and allegedly Silvy never apologized.

I never know what to believe out of Jurko though. He enjoys squirting lighter fluid on the coals.

I think the tough ratings book is grinding on everybody at ESPN1000.

He sure does.

I'm sure Silvy & Carm will look back and laugh at this whole thing over a glass of wine later tonight.

Certainly looks like it. Silvy could have reacted in to the rather innocuous prank in a better manner. Maybe pasting pictures of Jurko all over Carm's work station?

Silvy's being kind of a jerk about this whole thing. Admit you were wrong and move on...

has Silvy responded with anything of note this morning? He seems like a pretty feminine guy, but one that is afraid to admit, unlike Greenberg.

does make for great radio.

love that carm called in as "slippery pete". awesome reference.

if they're as good of friends as silvy said, they'll be all right.

i think silvy could have been a little more humble about it, it being his show, but he was a bit pompous.

You can always tell when someone is wrong about something. They're argument is always pointless and has nothing to do with the original problem. This is why Silvy keeps up the "I've never seen you this mad before" thing.

I know this whole thing isn't really that big of a deal, but I'm starting to think Silvy may be kind of a jag in 'real life'.

Silvy is really cool, he's not a jag at all in my experience. He's always been happy to buy a beer for people and sit and talk well after remotes are over. Actually, because of the size of the crowd relative to MJH, the old Silvy and Carmen remotes were the most fun; you always got to talk to the hosts before, during, and after, and you could also actually hear the show as well. MJH get larger crowds that are noisier, and more hangers-on that often prevents them from greeting everyone.

A friend of yours?

You see, if you shoot pool with somebody here, you can come and borrow money.

What does that get us?

Wait, I'm not him anymore. Silvy was cool to me even after I said I wasn't always a big fan of his. I thought that was pretty classy on his part.

Well. I guess someone who has the body of an Adonis can't be all that bad...

I would be curious to see an actual fight between Silvy & Carmen. Thoughts on the winner?

I dont know much about either, silvy seems kinda whiny and thin skinned. Gotta go with Carm in an uneducated guess

I don't know about this one. Didn't some guy drop Chester with one punch at the DuPaul game? And I'm pretty sure Bruce fights dirty.

I was just thinking Bruce would get tired and fall asleep sooner.

Just like the Jerry vs George debate on Seinfeld, I'd give the edge to Silvy since he'd cheat as much as he could (kick, scratch, pull, kick, etc... whatever it takes to win) :).

Was there a Jerry vs George debate about this? Jerry would take him out in less than 3 minutes. George was in terrible shape and seemed like a wuss anyway. Im not taking Jerry for a fighter either, but he could have taken George easily.
