I don't think it's Rosey, I think it is the local nature. Sean is in over his head - he can't intelligently comment on anything outside of football (and it sounds like the consensus on football is that he gives very little there too), and doesn't know enough to stand on his own in an argument defending what he has commented on. This is his insecurity, and that is causing him to force comedy/general topic discussion, which is where the "Am I hot?" and fantasy football whoring stems from. This might sound a little confusing, for which I apologize - I feel like I know what I want to say, but just can't articulate it adequately (maybe if I yell it will make it better ).
